Richard L. Bernacchi
Senior partner in the Los Angeles-based law firm Irell & Manella LLP. For over 30 years Mr. Bernacchi has been a part of one of the leading commercial law firms in California. He has specialized in the legal, tech- nical and strategic planning issues and opportunities arising from computer hardware and software, multimedia, telecommunications and other advanced technologies, including development, acquisition, protection and exploitation of intellectual property; licensing, distribution, joint venture and other strategic partnering arrangements; acquisitions and mergers; and related contract disputes. He is a Co-Chairman of Committee R (International Computer and Technology Law) of the International Bar Association's Section on Business Law; member of the Advisory Board, former Director and Past President of the U.S. Computer Law Association; co-author of Data Processing Contracts and the Law (Little, Brown & Co., 1974); co-author of Bernacchi on Computer Law (Little, Brown & Co., 1986), and a frequent lecturer. Mr. Bernacchi earned his law degree at the University of Southern California Law Center in 1964, where he was Order of the Coif and Editor-in-Chief of the Southern California Law Review. He earned his undergraduate degree in Accounting with highest honors from the University of Santa Clara in 1961.

Steven P. Tiberg

At Marsh, Tiberg has been senior consultant to many major corporations including Lockheed Martin and Nissan Motors North America. Prior to joining Marsh, he was CEO of Jardine Insurance Brokers - Los Angeles and Risk Management, Inc. Mr. Tiberg's background includes international insurance and reinsurance experience, having lived and worked a number of years in the Far East.
